Malaysian Food Packaging in New York
I’m not into coconut cookies that much, and I don’t think they are essential Malaysian food staple anyways. However I’m a tad ticked off at how poorly our local food packaging are designed and OMG the grammar. “Malaysia terkenal” maybe the direct translation of “Malaysian famous” but if my BM teacher sees this, she’s going to abruptly faint, wakes up and falls into a coma. And isn’t “Ranggupnya” supposed to be with one “g” instead?
The truth is, we totally have great produce and if only the local manufacturers spent a little bit more on the aesthetics front, I believe the rest of the world will have the impression that at least noone in Malaysia still live on trees, y’know? Gothamist

It goes to show that in malaysia, u need two things to do business…Ass Kissing and Money to Accompany Ass Kissing…If you have both, nothing else matters. Hell! You could probably put a Halal stamp on some piggy wiggy and still be able to sell it! Or better, be related to some VVIP and do a lousy job promoting malaysian goods overseas and still manage to get the Best Malaysian Do Gooder Award!
