Do We Need Another Il Divo?
I actually don’t really know how to say this pleasantly but I’ll try. I’m not sure how successful Il Divo was until another version of the 3 guys and their grandfather group spawned from Britain, you know the land where the sun doesn’t really shine. Do we really need another group of opera singing hunks? Probably.
They are called Teatro, which concentrate to singing theater anthems hence the name. Teatro recently released their first single “Music of the Night” from The Phantom of the Opera. It was, uhm… old sounding? Okay, maybe all the aunties (and some uncles) will go crazy over these singing gentlemen but to the demographics of under 30, I don’t think so.
Teatro consists of 4 good looking guys of the same age range (not like Il Divo) and they are Jeremiah James, Andrew Alexander, Simon Bailey and Stephen Rahman-Hughes. Wait a minute, that last guy sounds familiar. Isn’t that dude played Hang Tuah from Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical and also half Malaysian? OMG this is major! Someone please give him a Dato’ title ASAP!
